Installation, A’ la Carte exhibition MIART, 2021
This massive installation confronts viewers with a visceral, somewhat abject, abstraction of a fat lady organ “of care”, exposed and held open like a portal, inviting to dive into the subterranean of the self, where we can physically stand inside. It evokes a magnetic pull, drawing observers to orbit around the suspended flesh and metal braces, tempting to enter a foam of vulnerability, hard to exit.
